Here’s Why EVs May Soon Be Taxed for Every Mile Driven (msn.com)Shifting from a gas taxConsider that gas taxes fund roughly 80% of theHighway Trust Fund'srevenues. It's no longer a question of if, but rather when EV taxes will start and how exactly they will roll out. And the federal government is already supposed to be testing a few concepts.These changes aren't happening under the Department of Transportation's own free will, as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 required the US Secretary of Transportation to establish a Vehicle-Miles-Traveled Fee pilot program. However, this plan has been stalled far past its 90-day starting requirement, prompting experts to push back.Specifically, the Eno Center for Transportationpublished a reportexpressing grave concerns about the fed's relative lack of inaction. The non-profit think tank can see a near future where owners of new EVs pay nothing in federal fuel taxes while a declining population of internal-combustion vehicles fails to adequately support the current highway funding scheme."Federal policymakers are unable or unwilling to increase highway user tax rates, even to keep pace with inflation," the report reads. "The result is a system that has required over a quarter trillion-dollar infusion of revenue over only the last 15 years and effectively severed the principle of 'user-pay, user-benefit."That's why the Washington, D.C.-based organization is lobbying for a federal vehicle-miles traveled (VMT) fee, mileage-based user fee (MBUF), or a road usage charge (RUC). At their core, all of these charges are based on distance traveled, with some tax variation depending on geography, vehicle weight, time of day, etc.

If they couldn’t drive me crazy via tech-tranny and various coerced human experimentations; they can play with my life, money, properties, wealth, talent, etc. America deports a lot of people; if I am not allowed to contribute in a way I want and and live as independently as possible then deportation is good way to end the hustle. I have been hustled with for 18 years, and I have hustled for my freedom the last 9 years. I don’t mind defending America with my life, but I don’t let America to enslave me. Free country led by free market economy can’t own private citizen and his or her properties. Supreme Court of the United States : citizens of free country can never be invaded, occupied, and colonized; citizen of free market economy can never be robbed and forced into car exile. I can produce wealth with police, FBI, DOJ, BCA and others based on facts, but the govts and faith groups can never twist my arms and use my money, time, talents, properties (research products of more than 30 yrs that worth trillions), and etc.

Yet another story of the United States failing to educate its young. Fifty-four percent of us can’t read past 6th grade level as it stands now.Forty-three percent can’t read past 5th grade level. Our public schools are being deliberately sabotaged by what was once the Republican Party, and this is the latest report on what is going on with college applications. What all of this is telling anyone who will listen is that in the near future Americans will be the most poorly educated of the developed democracies, if we are still even a democracy. By every social data outcome measure I can find the United States is a country in a major decline. Few in politics will talk about it, corporate media rarely covers it, but that is what is happening.
